A gunman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after exchanging fire with armed officers following a siege at a house in East Sussex.
Police were called to North Way in Seaford at 19:10 BST on Saturday after reports of a row involving firearms. A woman left the home shortly afterwards.
The 62-year-old exchanged fire with officers as he left the house at 01:00 on Sunday and was found wounded.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is investigating.
